He worked magic with his hands...

If there is a theme characterising Paul Cézanne, its the portrait: the famous artist painted almost 200 of them over his career, including 26 of himself and 29 of his wife.
This exhibition will explore the special pictorial and thematic characteristics of Cézanne’s portraiture notably attempting to reveal the stylistic variations which appeared over time. It is also a chance to focus on the extent to which particular sitters shaped the characteristics and development of his practise.

From Monday 13 March to Sunday 24 September 2017 :

- Thursday from 09:30 to 21:45
