All year long
Amelie... The magical charm of this quirky film by director Jean-Pierre Jeunet is deeply rooted in Montmartre, the northern Paris district. Set off in the footsteps of Amélie... Wander the narrow streets, have a coffee at the Café des Deux Moulins (Where Amelie worked), stop off at the Maison Collignon grocer's shop (Which adopted its name after the film), and stop to watch the traditional carousel at the foot of the steps up to Sacre Coeur.
Continue on to Gare de l'Est railway station, with its great concourse, where you can find a photo booth to capture the day before wandering along the Canal Saint Martin to skim stones on its surface.
