From Saturday, April 14 2018 to Friday, December 14 2018
Standing at 32m high and 35m wide, this war memorial on Quai de Rauba-Capeù does not go unnoticed. All the more because this 90-year-old structure is very much a symbol of Art Deco. This monument is the starting point for the exhibition presented by the city's archives, but many others, including for example those dedicated to Queen Victoria or Garibaldi, are featured.
An exhibition which highlights compassion, cohesion and the act of paying tribute, whether in times of war or in the wake of accidents or terrorist attacks.
