A look back over the years of American-Nice friendship.

In the context of the Centenary Commemoration of the Great War, the Nice archives are organising an exhibition which takes the public back to 1917.
It was in this year that the USA entered the war. After the war ended, lots of soldiers came back to the Côte d'Azur, and brought their culture there, the completely American joie de vivre.
It is this particular link between the city of Alpes-Maritimes and the USA which is explored in this exhibition. We see all the American influence which reigned in Nice up to the Second World War.
