Australian and international art.

The National Gallery of Victoria is a cultural hub consisting of two ultramodern art galleries located near to each other: the NGV International and The Ian Potter Centre.

The NGV International, on the National Gallery of Victoria premises, is oriented towards the exhibition of international works and boasts a huge collection.

The other National Gallery of Victoria gallery is The Ian Potter Centre, nearby in Federation Square, which presents an overview of Australian art including valuable collections of Australian Aboriginal Art spanning the colonial period up to the present day. It's the largest permanent collection of Australian art in the world.
