The photo-novella was a literary genre that came out of Italy in the 1947 and gained instant popularity in France and elsewhere. It remained popular for 20 years. The new Roman-Photo exhibition at the Museum of European and Mediterranean Civilizations (MuCEM) looks back at this cultural phenomenon and examines how it remains alive today. Fans of photography and literature, as well as anyone who is interested in cultural history, will enjoy this fascinating new exhibition.
