All year long
The famous Canebière, a kilometre-long avenue leads to the Old Port of Marseille: the true heart of the city. You can walk all around the old harbour along its three sides: the Quai des Belges, the Rive-Neuve and the Quai du Port. Two imposing forts control access to the Vieux Port: the Saint-Jean Fort and the Saint-Nicolas Fort.
The marina is surrounded by shops, cafés and restaurants which are perfect for relaxing in and unwinding at the end of the day. Going to the famous OM Café to watch a football match alongside die-hard Olympique de Marseille fans is a must for those interested in football. Allez OM!
