All year long

An emblematic artery.

Alongside the Old Port and the Bonne Mère, the Canebière in Marseille is a well known symbol of the city, offering a long promenade dotted with shops and remarkable facades, including buildings classified as historical monuments.

By the mid-nineteenth century, the Canebière was a landmark of social life in Marseille: locals and visitors alike would meet at places such as the Turkish cafe at the current location of the Tourist Office and Convention Bureau.

You can stroll along the Canebière or sit at one of its terraces to take in the sights and sounds of Marseille.
