Home of the Spanish monarchs.

The imposing Royal Palace of El Pardo, once the residence of the Spanish monarchs, is located in the Pardo suburb, to the North of Madrid. A major element of Spanish national heritage, the palace is famed for its architecture and for its interior decoration.
Within, one can admire some of the finest sculptures produced in Spain, including the work of great masters such as the Reclining Christ by Gregorio Hernandez or Virgin of the Angels by Francisco de Rizi. You can also enjoy walks in the 160km² forest surrounding the palace.
