El Café de Oriente is nothing short of a temple dedicated to gastronomy. It is a place steeped in history, built as it is on the ruins of the Gin Sain convent (which dates from the 17th century).
Here you will dine with your colleagues or friends in a vaulted hall with exposed stone walls, stark white napkins and red velvet-cushioned seats… It is a den of luxury, and for years now the chef Roberto del Moral has been exploring new ideas in his cuisine. He is unafraid to innovate, and yet respects the traditions that his culinary culture was built on.
For a quick lunch between meetings, enjoy the restaurant's excellent food on the outdoor terraced area, and admire the stunning Palacio Real and cathedral, just opposite.
