The shape of silence.

The "Invisibles" by Jaume Plensa (Barcelona, 1955) would seem at first sight to be at odds with their name. Although light passes through them, they are striking on account of their size and the steel cables that form them. These cables paradoxically make the sculptures appear light and suspended in time and space. This is perhaps what the artist hoped to achieve through his thought-provoking, motionless figures. A chance for the visitor to inspect them from every angle and let their imagination wander in search of the reasons for this call for silence.
