Comic strip, the invisible art, exhibition
From Friday, April 14 2017 to Wednesday, September 20 2017
In co-production with the Comic book festival, the Museum of Printing and Graphic Communication has chosen to showcase the 'comic strip, the invisible art' at an exhibition with a close interest in this 9th art, from its origins to today.
The title of the exhibition comes from the work of Scott McCLoud, theorist of the comic strip and author, chosen as the key theme of the exhibition. As you make your way around, you learn about the specific codes, mechanisms and languages ??of the very particular genre that is the comic strip …
And of course, the exhibition sheds light on the crafts of artists, graphic designers and screenwriters whose imaginations gave birth to the comic strips that you devour on your sofa.
