From Wednesday, May 10 2017 to Sunday, September 10 2017
Giacometti is a twentieth-century artist, so his works are immediately identifiable.
His very elongated figures are characteristic of his work and inseparable from the existential crisis that shook the world after the Second World War.
The exhibition focuses in particular on the influences that shaped the work of Giacometti and the importance of experimentation in the practice of his art.
You’ll discover his famous sculptures as well as his plasterworks exhibited for the first time, drawings and oil paintings.
