Foreign influences.

While the 60s were a cauldron of artistic creativity all around the world, you can't really say the same about the Portuguese scene at that time. Which meant that Portuguese artists sought inspiration abroad, in London and Paris in particular.
Produced between 1965 and 1975, the works on show in this exhibition all have this foreign influence, this multiculturalism and this desire to distance itself from the ideals of pop art which was prevalent at the time. An unusual exhibition about a little known period in the history of Portuguese art.
