From Saturday, September 2 2017 to Monday, April 30 2018
Inside the Nossa Senhora da Conceição chapel, you are confronted with two works by Polish artist Dominik Lejman. With their somnambulistic poetry, the artist's loop-through video paintings are a challenge for our perception and for the deep understanding of living together.
On the façade, you’re invited to stop in front of the ornamental language of urban artist Diogo Machado, aka ADD FUEL, whose drawings inspired by azulejos (tiles) have a fantastic connotation today, while launching you towards a fictional horizon tinged with provocation. By inserting elements taken from the illustrative world of the artist, organised on different layers and connected to each other, you’re led to reflect on the animal as a living being, as well as its relationship with human beings, tradition and history.
