When time leaves its mark.

This exhibition is a major event organised by the Government of Hong Kong to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the creation of the Special Administrative Region of Hong Kong.
In the 2nd century BC, during the Western Han Dynasty , Zhang Qian was sent by the Emperor of China on mission into the heart of Central Asia. To do this he opened a new trade route. For more than 18 centuries, this road was one of the most important trade routes.
Over 160 articles and precious objects have been gathered together today as a testimony to this historic road.
Fifty or so objects have also come directly from Kazakhstan and Kirghizistan.
Travel through time with Miles upon Miles, the exhibition.

From Wednesday 29 November 2017 to Monday 5 March 2018 :
- Every day, from 11:30 to 17:30
Last entry at 4.30pm for a one hour guided tour in Putonghua
