All year long
If there's one place to take your jogging up a gear in Hong Kong, it's on Lantau Peak. Up there, you can admire wonderful landscapes, but also seriously improve hill climbing. Run the 11km of trails on Hong Kong's second-highest summit.
To reach the peak, start from the small town of Mui Wo. Take a ferry from there, get off and follow the signs that'll point you in the right direction. If you want to watch the sunrise, Lantau Peak is still a great spot, but you'll need to be up very early.
