After the dark years in the early 2000s, Scotland has been experiencing a revival, coinciding with the arrival of Andy Robinson to captain the team. The results have improved (wins against Fiji, Australia, Argentina, South Africa and Samoa) and the good work needs to continue for the Six Nations Tournament.
The team symbolised by the Thistle beat Ireland on their home turf at Croke Park in 2010, and drew against England. However 2011 was a disastrous season with the Scots narrowly avoiding the wooden spoon by defeating the Italians on the final day.
The Scots last victory at the Tournament was in 1999. If they want to regain their international stature, the Scots know that they have to give it their all this year!
