Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus was published anonymously 200 years ago, and its success among readers is no secret. Two centuries after its publication, the novel is still thrilling readers of all ages and is above all a reference in the field of fantasy, and the Gothic horror novel.
To celebrate the masterpiece, Buenos Aires National Library is putting on a comprehensive exhibition. From the various editions, to Mary Shelley's inspiration (the author, now considered the first woman to have applied herself to this type of writing), and the influence of the work, there is nothing you won't know about the creation of the doctor and his quest for immortality.
