What relationship exists between human beings and maritime worlds?

This exhibition project examines the relations between man and the sea, but also the fragility of the oceans.

From the salmon sculpted into rock 25,000 years ago, to early Christian paintings where the fish appears as a symbol of Christianity, fishing has always acted as a wonderful playground with this unchanging scenario: a lake, a sky and the figure of a fisherman linking the two. Although it is a powerful lever for the imagination (miraculous fishing, extraordinary fish, etc.), it is not so far from the practices of the art lover who wanders around the museums. Fisherman and viewer stand in front of a frame, canvas or landscape, in which they immerse themselves…
