Established in 1995 on the initiative of the Ministry of Research and the Regional Council of Aquitaine, Cap Sciences belongs to the network of CCSTI (Centre of Scientific Technical and Industrial Culture). Situated on the banks of the Garonne, Cap Sciences is an entertainment centre and exhibition space that is open to the public. It encourages people to discover and understand science, including scientific phenomena and technological principles, scientific applications and industrial skills.
Also accessible by bike, via the bike path that runs along the Garonne, Cap Sciences is a multifaceted cultural space dedicated to science. Offering a range of exhibitions, workshops and engineering discoveries, Cap Sciences showcases the technical and industrial scientific capabilities of the Aquitaine region. Bring the family and play scientist for a day in this unique area of Bordeaux. Immerse yourself in the Industry and Research Gallery and discover the many activities conducted in partnership with thirty companies and laboratories in the Aquitaine region.
