From Saturday, January 27 2018 to Sunday, February 4 2018
Visitors come here to find something both unique and irresistible. The collections presented embody different artistic movements periods: artefacts from the Haute Antiquité, paintings, objets d'art, and furniture from the 18th century through to contemporary art. The eclectic mix of pieces delights connoisseurs and art lovers.
Each year, the Antiques trade fair brings together nearly a hundred exhibitors from all over France but also from Europe to present their collections and their expertise. The Bordeaux region is being honoured with the presence of Roland Daraspe, one of the greatest French goldsmiths and a Master of Art, as well as many important city centre antique dealers, from rue Notre Dame, and rue Bouffard like the Pipat Gallery, Viviane Morier, the Horizon Chimérique Gallery and the Assour et Sumer Gallery.
Contemporary art also has a prominent place alongside the Antiquity. A dedicated space welcomes big names in painting, sculpture and graphic art. Works by Robert Combas, Hervé Di Rosa, Bernard Buffet, Theo Tobiasse, Corneille and Sam Francis will also be presented.
