All year long

An homage to Romanesque and Byzantine art.

Completed in 1904, the Bode Museum building was designed by Ernst von Ihne during the reign of Emperor Wilhelm II. It was only in 1956 that the edifice became known as the Bode Museum, in honour of its first director; it was formerly known as the Frederic Museum after the king of Prussia. BR/>
The Bode Museum closed down for a number of years, and in 2006 reopened with a flourish. Within you will find several rooms dedicated to the Renaissance, while others display sculptures and paintings dating from the Middle Ages to the 18th century.

Admission prices :
- Full price : 8 €
- Reduced price : 4 €
Guided tours available: for more information contact the museum.
