A room full of masterpieces.

This stunning gallery, now a museum, is among the five museum establishments that make up Berlin's famed "Museum Island" (which is listed by UNESCO as a world heritage site). Construction was launched in 1866 and lasted a decade, and the edifice was later restored with a more Neo-Classical style (it was closed throughout this period). The Old National Gallery reopened in 2001 and has since known great success, as visitors flock there to see masterpiece by Manet, Monet, Renoir, Rodin, and many more…
