A river runs through it.

After the Mekong and the Salween, the Chao Praya is the third largest river in Thailand.

It continues to play an important role in the country's development, and serves as a major transport axis as it runs across the whole of the country. It crosses Bangkok covering over 80 kilometres. You can make use of the many water-buses and water-taxis in order to discover this river which is an integral part of the soul of Bangkok.
