All year long
The Noi canal welcomes the Royal Barges, no doubt one of the most beautiful views of Bangkok. The museum here tells the story and the use of the traditional barges, which look more like works of art than military vessels, so rich are their decorations.
They are now used for processions, celebrations and other official ceremonies. The most famous and most impressive barge is the Suphanahong, the King's personal boat which was built in 1911. It is in the shape of a swan and measures 46 metres.
