All year long
Khao San Road is the central hub of the English speaking tourist world in Bangkok, a bustling street which serves as a crossroads for travellers from all over the globe. Backpackers come and go along this street which remains busy day and night. Khao San Road is famous for its noisy, hectic pace of life, as well as for the odd cockroach scuttling in the street, and yet this road remains one of the most visited tourist spots in Bangkok.
You'll find travel agencies, bars, internet cafes, a pharmacy and many shops and stalls selling the ubiquitous printed T-shirts, but you can also find some excellent street food served up around here, not to mention Thai massages being offered in all directions.
