This 19th century facade on Keizersgraatconceals an ultra-modern architecture, a setting which is perfectly suited to the Museum of Photography.
It's not a museum which traces the technical history of photography but more a gallery which displays some of the greatest works from the most renowned photographers as well as the work of emerging talents in a decidedly minimalist way and for short periods of time.
