All year long

The universal impact of a family drama.

In July 1942, all the members of the Frank family hid in the hiding place for clandestine 25 months. This period ended when they were denounced and were arrested. Only the father survived deportation.

Thanks to the testimony of his daughter Anne in her diary, the tragedy of these two years is known around the world.

The museum, which has regularly renovated, uses the latest in museum technology to transmit its message. The model room is a scale model of the hiding place, the Otto Frank room shows an interview of the father in 1967.
This museum allows visitors to better understand what Anne Frank and her family endured, and the personal tragedy becomes universal.
