This event has now finished

From Thursday, October 4 2018 to Sunday, March 10 2019

Come and meet 125 of them.

The 1001 women in the 20th century exhibition is based on the book of the same name. Created by the historian, Els Kloek, it tells of the lives of women who are now dead and who have marked history.
For obvious reasons, the museum concentrates not on 1001, instead focusing on 125 life paths.
Although the visitors will find familiar faces, lots of these women had not yet achieved posterity.
Teachers, feminists and pilots, all now have all the attention that they deserve.
