Staff in general from reception to the poolside, from the restaurant to the valet assistant, like everyone was very friendly, polite and respectful, no matter what time of the day or night you availed their services. The hotel needs a general facelift, the lifts not working after the hefty rainfall on the 16th April 2024 was a bit of a let down, but the overall price paid, roughly aed 12k for a 2 bedroom apartment, is more than fair for the great experience we had including the pool area, fresh towels and bedding on daily basis etc. Would love to come back and see slightly upgraded sights like modern sofas, smart tv, induction stove, sophisticated cutlery etc.

We had a very rude experience of one of the bus boys coming to our table and accusing us of taking food to our rooms. Never had such an embarrassing situation in any hotel and thinking of moving to IHG instead of Accor.

The Swissotel Living was quite comfortable and spacious. It had all the amenities required in their apartment that we booked for our family stay. Also, it is located at a wonderful location, just on top of a mall, hence very convenient. However, it will be preferable if it could provide basic amenities such as 'Dishwashing tablets' and 'Laundry Liquid' for guests not staying for longer duration. It is a bit inconvenient and not so cost effective for guests buy a whole packet of dishwashing tablets and laundry liquid for a short stay (4 nights).

My experience at the hotel was utterly disappointing. Despite booking directly through their website, the level of miscommunication was staggering. While Maklouf attempted to assist us beyond expectations, the management's unhelpfulness and insistence on overcharging tarnished our stay from the start. Despite arranging a late checkout due to our spa booking, we were incessantly hassled and made to feel like nuisances. The lack of internal communication among staff exacerbated the situation, with repeated interruptions despite prior arrangements. The accusation of damaging a safe upon our return, coupled with a demand for payment, felt like a blatant cash grab. Despite our longstanding loyalty to Swissotel, the treatment we received was appalling. From begging for basic amenities like water and towels to enduring subpar service during breakfast, the overall experience was marred by incompetence and indifference. Waiting half an hour for utensils and being told to fetch our own coffee for my elderly grandmother epitomized the extent of the staff's negligence. In sum, this was an abysmal experience that fell far short of the standards expected from a reputable hotel chain like Swissotel.
