Even though the hotel is only 25 miles from our home, I chose to celebrate my 75th birthday with my husband at the Claremont. Our stay was perfect, and we were treated like royalty by the staff. We love the views from the hotel, the swimming pools, the bar and eating options on the premises, as well as the hotel's proximity to bakeries, restaurants and hiking trails.

The room I was given was poorly located. It did not seem crowded so I don’t understand giving me one of the worst rooms in the place. My breakfast order for 7am wasn’t delivered until 730 so I couldn’t eat it. When I mentioned it at the front desk it was noted. When I checked out I was still charged for it

I have shared your disappointment with our leadership team, particularly the late delivery of your breakfast. I will ask for that charge to be refunded and will forward you a revised copy of your folio once this has been processed. I apologize, this should have been handled at the desk when you mentioned it at checkout. Follow up has taken place with the person who checked you out. Being a heritage hotel, we have many room configurations, it is safe to say that almost no two are the same. I am sorry that the room assigned to you this time was not to your liking.
