I loved the hotel, the luxury family suite was bigger than we expected and felt 5* Staff were all friendly The buffet food was fantastic but some food did get dried out under the heaters Pillows need to be replaced as they smell weird

Our stay with Rixos Palm upon entering was good, It could have been excellent if we was welcomed and escorted or shown to suite check in desk Could have that extra personal touch Welcome drinks was provided on check in Had to wait a short time till rooms was available Early check on option for members was not facilitated, Option to upgrade had to be asked and was worth while doing as drinks and food could become expensive with family Personal concierge service was very good once check in was complete How ever few short areas Was not explained timings for daily shuttle to city malls which we are needed and paid to get into the malls ( by the time we found out it was our last day) Rooms was had to be requested few times to be cleaned and replenished which was a shame that could have been looked into and dealt with It was not peak season Rooms cleanliness was average not thorough, Toilet rolls/ hand towels had to be asked for Restaurants booking was terrible In house guest had no priority and was told booked fully and no space after discussion managed to get leco steak house available Food was very good lolive restaurant was nice However food and service was very poor Good we worked over 1hr 40 min Menu we waited over 15 min Drinks we waited over 35min We had to walk out to get the foods at the brunch restaurant at 1020pm Overall We enjoyed the stay would definitely recommend Restaurant not too sure no bookings available Maybe the hiccup was one off

Brilliant holiday. All staff were so nice and friendly. In particular Usman from reception,Rizwan and Bilaal bell boys,Syed and Osama restaurant waiters. There is no Arabic cuisine

The stay is good, but there is no attention to Arab tourists at all, although we are in an Arab country. Also restaurants times are not suitable and close early and the activities of the kids club do not rise to other branches of the rixos hotel such as Rixos Sharm el-Sheikh Which is also better in leisure activities and in menus

From the moment we arrived at Rixos The Palm we were impressed by the welcoming and professional staff at the door and reception, especially Natalia. Despite a 06:30 arrival at the Rixos we were still offered breakfast as the were able to catch up with some sleep in one of the chill out areas. Our room was ready 3 hours earlier than anticipated which of course was very welcoming news to us. The moment we stepped foot into our ultra-inclusive twin room family suite it draw a huge smile to our faces! The room space was amazing, so clean, fresh towels daily, very comfortable beds, continuously stocked mini bars, and a whole host of other amenities. Our suite was looked after daily by Hany and Prashant who were both so friendly and very professional. All other staff were excellent; also very friendly and couldn’t do enough for you, especially Sushant from the Turquoise restaurant. Jithendra from Rixos Concierge was also extremely helpful organising a reduced family day out at the Wild Wadi water park. This was all done in the late hours of the day. On our checkout the experience was just as good as checkin. Natalia checked us out and everything was so smooth. Speaking as a family of 4, I highly recommend staying at this hotel and will most definitely be booking our return.

I would say it was. 6.5 Therefore I was satisfied sometimes but dissatisfied more so. Most of the staff were amazing like the reception staff, concierge and guest relations. The staff where you book added trips like 4wd etc where useless and not at all smiling or warning to help sell the packages so guess what, we didn’t. The restaurant staff in all restaurants were very helpful and always willing to go the extra mile so to speak but it generally 6 out of 7 times took 2 and sometimes 3 separate staff before we got an answer or what we had asked for. The other times it wasn’t a drama however when it was it was usually an issue that took time to manage. On 1 occasions room service forgot our towels and another hand/hair towels. You could imagine coming back from the beach at 1845 and needed to leave the room within 45 minutes but we didn’t have a towel. Again only twice did this happen but 2 times I believe it should not have happened. After 3 days you did final cool the pools so thank you for that. There was nothing for teenagers to do in the evening and this was a huge and consistent problem every single day. We felt we were forced out of the hotel each evening to Malls spending money we shouldn’t have had to on an all inclusive holiday package. We spoke to many parents who felt the same. Many said they would not return. And many said when complaining about this they were simply told You will need to deal with it and go out of the hotel. I arranged a beach volley ball game which did ok and kept us busy for a couple of hours early one evening but to find out half way through our trip there were a couple of activities but we had to instigate it was dreadful. This comment cane not just from my wife but 3 other families. Father food was amazing and that was pretty standard across the board and across the families we spoke to but to keep up the interest of families with children over 7-8 you really do need to consider your options here. We secured a 50% discount of this all inclusive holiday package which we were thrilled about but now as an insider looking out we understand why you have to sell this as a 50% discount. In hindsight we would have preferred to stay elsewhere for a little bit more as far as the teenagers go. Don’t get me wrong we had a lovely time but over all I have to give it a 6.5 which isn’t necessary neither but it is not a 7 which would be a Satisfied customer. Again your staff were fantastic and all had big smiles and great attitudes. We loved how you have so many different nationalities as it was great getting to know them one by one through our 14 day stay. Also I was contacted not once but twice about a room change I had due to the plumbing issue in our previous room. I did explain this to the man at the door and then over the phone that it was not us. When we did receive the phone call I did point out that it was the people next door in 3604 that had experience these issues as we had met them at the pool. They were happy with their new room but hadn’t received a follow up call at that point. One other issue we had was in the swim up pool my son and his friend noticed what they thought was a piece of poo on the bottom of the pool floor. When this was mentioned to the life guard he did not respond with anything. It was as if he didn’t want to know. Perhaps he did not understand what the boys were saying but I can not believe that. The word Poo and possibly the face they were pulling at the time should have created a question to prove further or perhaps he simply couldn’t be asked to. I don’t know. I should have followed this up myself but didn’t. Unfortunately karma has played its part here. My wife got an ear infection then my son followed by myself. Not necessarily from this incident but I do look at it as karma. My son and I are still suffering from our ear infections as we got this the day we were leaving. My wife found paracetamol helpful over a 4 day period which seemed to fix her however I am suffering quite bad and with only one ear that works from birth I do worry to say the least. Our room was great 2 bedroom family suite which had loads of room. Food was good quality but very samey. Not enough beds around the pool. No bar area inside hotel. Not enough inside seating for evening drinks.

Very enjoyable family holiday, amazing hotel with fantastic staff, who given the extreme heat I should give a special mention to the pool staff particularly Jithin who looked after us so well. The room (2 Bedroom Family Suite) was spotless, very spacious and the mini bars were filled everyday as part of the UAI Package Mr Javed in reception brought a ray of sunshine to our day with his humour, he was so keen to ensure we were having a great stay and was wonderful with our children. The Rixy club was excellent the staff work so hard our two children aged 6 & 10 are not normally interested in Kids clubs but the range of activities meant they kept going back for more, however having the kids disco outside in summer was a little brutal given the extreme humidity. The only fault I could pick with the hotel is there isn't a suitable indoor space to relax after the evening meal that provides some sort of entertainment. the steak house did have some seats at the bar but not enough for a family, and the out door bar was to humid in summer to be comfortable. I will certainly visit your hotel again.
