Not a bad stay at all, Rooms a little tired but still good. Car park is a touch small but there’s nothing the hotel can do about that. Where this hotel excels is in its staff they are brilliant but two for me stand out and I’m going to name them as they deserve it so hats off to Love and Nas you guys rock.

Only thing going for the hotel is the Front office staff and convenience and closeness to our client (as we don't like to drive too much in the morning)

I feel that the hotel is stuck in a time warp .. i have been staying with you for over 10yrs and in that time nothing seems to have changed except the managers, the staff (Front office especially) makes the stay reasonable. However any issue, suggestion or problems(not small things like no shampoo etc for which they are able to help ) they are totally helpless. I almost feel that this survey is a tick box exercise, that needs to be done due to it being the start of the financial year, and no action will be taken. Additionally i feel the feel with the hotel is, people will stay irrespective of the service we provide because we are central and significant lack of other reasonable hotels in the area apart from the Swan. I think you owe it to residents and more importantly the staff to have a bit of pride to say they work or stay at the Mercure Bedford .. rather or colleagues saying why don't to travel and stay in MK and there are much better hotel. I make no apologies if this response is to blunt ... but you seriously need to upgrade your hotel if you want attract more residents (a number of my team members have already decided to stay in MK)

I had possibly the worst stay in a hotel of my life, and unsure of why - The crux of it is I didn't sleep well at all. To hot, couldn't get comfortable in the bed - Aircon adjusted down to chill room , but second night still didn't sleep well. Was it me or the room, or outside noise no idea? The room is well presented and clean. Aircon cooled the room, I was just conscious of it running. Breakfast was lovely with a good selection Staff were friendly and helpful.

The first room had no security chain, being on my own this required. The second room the curtains fell down when I tried to close them. It took ages getting someone to pick up at reception. The receptionist wasn’t able to rehang them. The third bedroom again had no security chain and I also noticed the chairs were stained. By this time I was losing the will to live. Finally after traipsing from room to room the final room was okay even though it had a miserable outlook
