We stayed one night after a long drive from Scotland with 2 children. Kebba on reception was extremely helpful and ensured we had a lovely large family room which was very comfortable, and a good rest was had by all. We also managed to take advantage of the hotel swimming pool after breakfast which the kids loved! Thanks for for taking such good care of us we would definitely come back!

The hotel is good value. The room was clean and breakfast was excellent. The only shortcoming was the size of the room, there was no more than 12" between the bottom of the bed and the large tV on the wall. This made moving about the room very awkward.

Loved the Hotel, the room was clean and the bathroom was great too. It would be good to have a bath in some rooms is there any chance of improving the front of the hotel? First glimpse is not promising

Room was very small for 2 people not a lot of space around the bed Air conditioning was very hot & miss difficult to actually get working Shower tray & shower needed maintenance

Hotel was ok, room was small and basic and in need of some modernisation. Bath room was nice and was clean. Bed was comfortable. Staff were excellent. Didn't eat at hotel. Probably wouldn't return.

I booked my stay to help my son a daughter in law with my granddaughter for a few day while they worked, I’m disabled and their house isn’t suitable for me so I stayed in this hotel. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The only reason I marked it down was I booked the disabled room, there was plenty of room and rails next to the toilet, however the room had a bath and no way for me to get in. I was offered a room that had a shower but there was no shower chair/stool so it wouldn’t have been suitable so I stayed in the disabled room but I had to wait till I went home for a shower

Small room and not perfectly prepared

Surprised by how small the room was and how little was included in the not insignificant cost of £101. Although recently decorated this was a room only just big enough for one, not two adults (and forget any cases you may have). Only one large towel provided, a backflushing shower outlet when you emptied the sink and missing covers on shower mixer knobs suggest little focus on customer care or a lax attitude. Unlike stated in the booking there was no iron or ironing board either.

I regularly stop at the hotel for work. It's the first night in the newly decorated rooms and they're much nicer in comparison to the old rooms. As ever the customer service was first class!! It's a real shame that I was unable to collect the Accor rewards points.

no different to before as the park inn, very tired hotel, rooms grubby, breakfast very low standard. went back for an item of clothing left in room after 1 hour and guess what, no sign of it, staff ????

Room not hoovered. Bin in bathroom not emptied (used sanitary product in it). Fan in bathroom didn't work hence the reason for mildew on ceiling. Horrible stain on ceiling in bedroom. Staff not friendly or welcoming. On check-in the staff seemed to be more concerned for the male staff member and his personal life. I asked receptionist in the morning where to go for breakfast and she didn't even lift her head, just pointed. On checkout we weren't asked if we enjoyed our stay, just directed to slit in desk to put our key. No customer service whatsoever. When I called the hotel prior to arrival to check Room availability, ask about facilities and enquire about taxis into city centre, staff were very short and sharp, as though they were too busy to talk to me. Not a great impression before we'd even arrived.

Room too hot and not able to cool

First room, too hot, air con broken, handles broken on windows so couldn’t be opened. Asked if others were available, long wait to establish if there was. 2nd room, also too hot and aircon also broken. Ended up waking up very early because it was so hot. Will not be returning.

I love the new look room (345) and always find your staff very friendly and helpful, however there are a few things that you need to improve on - 1) No iron in the room 2) No phone in the room to call down to get an iron 3) Shower v hard to work- it’s either on fully but boiling hot or sends out a dribble 4) TV had no signal 5) Biscuits on the tea/coffee tray would be nice 6) v narrow getting past the bed to window

Back for the fourth time! We had an issue with the shower in our first room but this was quickly rectified with a change of rooms, thank you. The staff are excellent and nothing is too much trouble. Thanks to Gaelle who made dinner and breakfast such fun! We were forever laughing and she is an asset to you!

There was building work (drilling) going on in the hotel, and whilst I appreciate upkeep must happen - there was no prior warning whatsoever and I was trying to prepare for an important interview.
