I have regularly stayed at this hotel since July 2016. This was my third stay this year and stayed for 3 nights with bed and breakfast. Previously called, Park Inn by Radisson. The top shower knob has the screw missing and came off easily. On the Sunday, the house maid did not replace a hand towel in the ring on the sink, did not fill tea, coffee or milk on the tray. A glass with water was on the table from the previous day. I used a cup and the spoon was still on the tissue where l had left. I could not use the safe either.On Sunday evening, I went to the Receptionist and complained to her. I collected 2 pots of milk and coffee sachets. Then she sent a Colleague to open the Safe. He was VERY good. He offered me a sandwich or a drink, but I did not want anything. On Tuesday 8 Oct, when I checked out, the Receptionist asked me how was my stay. I informed her of the issues.

Customer service was poor. TV didn't work in room at first and staff seemed to expect us to fix ourselves. Shower facet had a piece missing. Front desk were very defensive. Rooms were inadequately cleaned

Very friendly and welcoming staff , a bit of confusion over room but soon sorted .Lovely room , very spacious.Plenty of choice for breakfast , but not everyone like's smoked bacon . Can i suggest having smoked and unsmoked bacon to choose from .

My stay was fine except confusing with the hotel renovations going on and I was put in one of your new rooms which was difficult to find. Also my clothing stunk of paint and what smelt like turps. I was aware of the smell at the time but not how strong it was which was evident on clothing.

A really pleasant experience with friendly welcoming staff and excellent facilities. At the time of the stay, the hotel was undergoing some minor refurbishment but having said that, it did not impact on the stay.

The door of our room wouldn’t lock and we couldn’t access the safe. To begin with we were asked to stay in the room and notify the front desk when we went out so they could lock up. It was later decided to move us to the room next door. We chose the hotel because of its sauna and pool but on the Saturday afternoon the pool was out of action, and the sauna had been closed for a while. Only the steam room was available, and on the Sunday the steam room was also closed. When we got home on Sunday I called the hotel to say I had left my dental guard in the room, I also emailed them. A week later I have had no response as to if it has been found. It cost me £180.

Room smelt of aftershave on arrival (strong) had to open the window for several hours and it wasn't overly a warm day, so later had to put the heat on. lipstick on towel and crumbs on the bed. Breakfast finishes at 10, arrived at 9 and it wasn't a friendly experience, was told it was all that was left now as they were shutting down, another gentleman arrived 20 mins later and almost told he couldn't dine, not a great experience

I was in my room at about 11.15 when another resident entered, he had been allocated Room 326, same as me. Then in the middle of the night 2 Men were banging on my door asking if I was Glyn. Obviously woke me and I had to inform them I was not Glyn.

I booked in at a time when all around me was chaos. The trek to my room due to building work was stressful. Having grabbed some food at the bar I returned to my room to find other guests in there! the room havng been double booked! Complete chaos! I felt sorry for the reception staff who were severely stressed. NOT a good advert and I certainly was not happy. I also felt the breakfast food was poor in conjunction with my usual hotel facilities at the Park Inn Walsall.

Shower was so tiny and valves were out of order. As per Accor site it was suppose to have a nice rain shower but actually it had worlds tiniest shower. No water was available in the and again misguidance as per website two free water bottles would be available. Bad cleaning in bathroom and pool area including showers. Stream room occupied by staff lying everywhere and no space for hotels guests. Locker area and gym is rundown. Overall not a good experience.

I had phoned prior to booking the hotel room to check that the room definitely had air conditioning and they confirmed that it did. When we were shown to our room we were pleasantly surprised as it was very modern and well decorated etc. The weather was particularly hot that weekend so we put the air conditioning on which started to work ok and then after a short while it turned off and a fault was shown on the display. We started it again and it worked but then again turned off again with the same fault being displayed. We contacted reception and someone eventually came up to have a look and adjusted something and said it was working but yet again after he left it turned off again, this was repeated yet again and eventually they said they would give us a different room. This was quite late in the evening and we had to pack our cases and relocate. Unfortunately the room we were moved to was nowhere near the standard of the previous room (although the air conditioning worked) and there was a door in the corridor right near our room and every time someone went through the door it would bang loudly. The restaurant was also closed on the first night and this was a Friday! Food was available from the bar but not quite the same as dining in a restaurant. Overall our stay was disappointing.
