Gone downhill

This has always been my favorite place to stay in Cincy when we come to the theater. This time was different. When we pulled up to the valet we were told “get your stuff out and I’ll be right back”. Usually the older gentleman helps us get our bags out when he takes our keys. I didn’t see him at check in. Luckily, he was there when we left and he put our bags in the car. When we got to our room, the bathroom needed repairs badly and it wasn’t cleaned properly. The tiles in the shower were chipped, the finish was off the shower regulator, the sink was cracked, and there was part of an acrylic finger nail in the floor. I realize there is coffee in the room, but it would be nice to have coffee in the lobby or restaurant to go in the morning. Prices have gone up, but the service and upkeep of this 21c has gone down. Unfortunately, next month we will look elsewhere to stay

Room was calm and nice but: - it is not super clean, dust on furnitures/corners - water and coffee refills are often forgotten during the cleaning - the menu gives the feeling that there is a room service but in fact no. Breakfast at 7 is too late … - lamps buttons are not really working

Wouldn’t have stayed here by choice

Traveled from Florida on a red eye and arrived at 8:30am, hoping my room would be ready and it wasn’t. Which meant I had to dilly dally around Cincinnati until noon when my meeting started. Sat in the lobby for a couple hours, it smelled like feet and it was so hot in there. The “lobby desk” is some make shift table it was so weird. The walls were made of paper I could hear what everyone was doing around me.

I am very sorry that your room was not available when you checked in. We truly do our very best to accommodate our early arrivals but sometimes due to the previous day occupancy, we are unable to do so as quickly as we would like. For this, I sincerely apologize. Our front desk is typically not covered like it was during your stay with us. We had a piece of glass that was unfortunately shattered and is being replaced this week. I can assure you that on your next return, it will be repaired and in working order. Our front desk is truly a work of art in and of itself, so I am deeply sorry that you were not able to see it in its true form.
