Though I realise the check in time is later in the afternoon, I got there around 1:20pm and was told my room was not ready. It would only be ready at 2 or 3pm, they would call to let us know. I was hoping to freshen up after coming from KL and having to go to work after that. My parents were with me and they were hoping to be able to take a rest. Anyway, we left... me to work and my parents to look around. No one had called my dad to say the room was ready so they waited till I finished work and we returned close to 5pm. It was a weekday, and we hardly saw other guests in the hotel so I doubt there weren’t any other rooms available but you just HAD to give us one that “wasn’t ready yet”. We really enjoyed staying with you in April but this experience has left a sour note in our mouths and maybe we will try one of the many other hotels in the vicinity next round cos I do pop by Penang for work now and then. I had even recommended you to my friend who is attending a wedding in Batu Ferringgi in November! Maybe not anymore...

The bell counter service a bit poor. Request to lend an umbrella bur the lady sitting at the luggage counter not helpful. Watching video.

The location is at tanjung bungah. You may able to get grab car easily either to town or shopping mall. Few eatery nearby too. The hotel is nice to stayed and is just near to beach for kids to have fun.

Overall I had a great experience in here, when I first arrived the concierge staff already standby and help us to move our luggage, front desk is helpful and I got early check-in. staff in bar also great, the fruit punch also taste nice. Btw, usually I just skip breakfast because I'm too lazy to wake up in the morning and eat if the food is not that good. But I wake up early and had my breakfast everyday in here cause the food is really good! haha

The hotel has wonderful views over the beach. The room was comfortable and the restaurant good value. Unfortunately smoking is allowed in the bar and this was unpleasant. There was one unfortunate incident when an accident in the restaurant led to an unnecessary and embarrassing rant from one member of staff to the guilty party, which appeared unprofessional. Also, that same evening we went to the bar and there was no-one there to serve us.

Air-cont not very cold at night, assign to lower floor which quite noisy, bath room no pedestal. The blanket like still has some smoke smell.

The bed was old and too soft. The toilet in the lobby was full of poo and blood, only after telling the reception someone took care of this. I would like to have stayed much longer but especially the bed was very bad and next day I could barely walk with strong back pain
