April 2024 Booked two nights at $332 a night. Our flight was canceled from Boston to Amsterdam. I called to let the hotel know we would not be arriving that evening as planned. The lady at the desk said it was too late to cancel. We would have to pay for that night. When we arrive the next day, we were exhausted from the overnight flight. We asked if breakfast was included in our rate. The from office Manager (Simona) said no. We asked if there was a restaurant near by where we would get breakfast. She said no. We paid the hotel $332 for a room we did not get because of the canceled flilight. Under those circumstances, would the hotel include breakfast? Simona said no. I thought that was pretty mean spirited.

Well pretty good from by all standards Clean,good service,food,safe and regarded in the city center This may be controversial but i gave it 4 out of 5 stars because its not the best for what you pay i mean its good as i said but i stayed in some other hotels with a lower prices and it was better At the end i recommend you to stay in this place you will not regret

From check in we knew we were going to have a wonderful stay, check in was quick and easy, desk staff were polite and friendly. The room was clean of an excellent standard. The location was next to the train station and very accessible to the main centre. Would stay here again and would highly recommend to anyone visiting this beautiful city.

Not bad, not great. Nice breakfast included with room rate. Poor afternoon hors d’oeuvres in the afternoon in the Executive lounge. Only fried things and a bit of fruit. Wine OK. Didn’t have cold water in the shower for 2 days, so no showers. To their credit, as we had paid for an upgraded, water-view room, they refunded the difference for not being able to shower. The hotel is close to the central Station so there’s an advantage there. I want to do a sad hour-out to the F&B Director for the hotel. I saw him working early in the morning until almost midnight when he was closing out the bar - and always pleasant. He’s a great employee. If you want more charm or a more cozy feel, try another hotel in Amsterdam.

ldgp14 Couples - TripAdvisor review

We stayed at Movenpick in Amsterdam for 2 nights, it is situated around 15-20 minutes walk from the Central station so really easy to get to. The view from the room was really good and the room itself was also great, really spacious, clean and good amenities. The bar was a great place for a drink at the end of the night and the shop in the lobby is a great idea. All of the staff were really helpful I would say this is a fantastic option for a weekend away in Amsterdam.
