Overall my stay was enjoyable. However there is a few things I could complain about, firstly the lift being out of action one day. The room I stayed in could use a secondary set of blinds or a curtain to block sunlight. And considering you are on a main road you would think the construction of the building would ensure you do not receive any noise from the outside traffic, but no....

Room was ok, unusual and impractical layout (dining table as you enter). Couch was uncomfortable and no TV in bedroom. Whilst not great I could cope with the above, however the noise was awful. Traffic noise and trains made for a terrible night's sleep. Unfortunately I have pre booked my accommodation for next week at your hotel otherwise I would of chosen another hotel. I did speak to staff member when checking out and requested a room at the back of the property to avoid the noise. I asked the staff member when I checled

The apartments are nicely laid out. The biggest issue was the road and train noise on the Dandenong Road side. It seems that the balacony doors / glazing has not been treated for noise attenuation.

At face value the room appeared clean but as soon as I sat on the couch and lay down in the bed I began to get itchy. After looking under the couch you can clearly see that the floor underneath is never vacuumed/mopped - same applies to the bed. There was also rubbish under the bed and all of this I have photos of if required. I did notify housekeeping and the response I received was "I'll let housekeeping know", whether anything was actually done about it I have no idea.

I have stayed at the premised 3 times now. It is a beautiful hotel and I enjoy each stay. I noticed during my recent stay that there was a set of drawers placed in the bedroom, which is a huge help as I had previously had to put my clothes on the floor. May I suggest 2 other changes that will improve the stay of your guests: 1. A powerpoint in the bathroom. Many guests use hairdryers, straighteners or shavers but there is nowhere to plug these in, in the bathroom. I have to pull the bed out to use the powerpoint in the bedroom, and even then the bedroom glass is tinted so makes it very difficult. As I stay there for business it is important to be able to prepare properly in the morning. 2. A set of shelves in the bathroom would be very helpful also. There is currently barely space to place a toothbrush and nowhere to put other beauty products. Again I have to put my belongings on the floor which is less than ideal.

WHILST THE ACCOMMODATION AND APARTMENT WERE VERY NICE - WE FOUND THE NOISE REALLY DISAPPOINTING. WHEN I CHECKED IN I SPECIFICALLY ASKED FOR A ROOM AT THE BACK OF THE BUILDING BUT WAS PUT IN A FRONT APARTMENT. MY HUSBAND HAD A PROCEDURE AT A NEARBY HOSPITAL AND WE KNEW THE SEBEL WAS VERY HANDY. BUT WE DID NOT GET MUCH SLEEP AT ALL. I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE BEST TO LET YOU KNOW THAN NOT SAY ANYTHING AT ALL.

Lovely kitchen space, great having two bathrooms, although the bedroom presented as master bedroom did not have en-suite. Main bathroom at entry did not have any storage, basin space to put your toiletries. Great views with the expansive glass windows, however this made it cold & hard to warm apartment. Needs a larger lounge for a 2bdr apartment for 4 people. Very close to trains & trams for public transport to city.

Very comfortable room, great views. Only criticism would be that it was a bit cold in my room and there weren’t any clear instructions on how to heat my room. It would be nice to have either have a cafe or somewhere to get coffee but that is just me being super picky. Lovely enjoyable stay.

Room was close to lift and get disturbance

Didn't get any welcome drinks and room was close to lift. housekeeping doesn't knock the door and she entered the room and then asking if anyone inside as she was half way in the room, it was soo uncomfortable. Couldn't workout the heater, as sometimes it doesn't work as only gets cool and sometimes it heat the room alot even still under 24 temp. Called receptionist and she said i can try turning off and turning on, but she can't come and fix it or show us.
