Stayed 3 nights had dinner at Spoonbill one night. Excellent place very friendly staff. The food was fantastic and the room was clean and the facilities are great. Free lollies at check in are a nice touch too. 😁

We come to South Yarra a few times a year as we love the location. The Olsen consistently provides a good place to stay. Rooms are a good size and always clean and tidy. Service is always good

Great rate of $140 a night good location just out of the CBD. Room was 5 star. Staff all fantastic. Breakfast very good. Can’t fault the place at all

Firstly, the receptionist at the front desk was unclear about the parking fee of 35 yuan. I showed her an email from the hotel two days ago informing us of the parking fee, but she maintained a haughty attitude and said she could offer us that price, which was what we were entitled to in the first place. Second, we checked in at 3:00 p.m. and were given a 2-person room on the first floor, which was not the room type we had booked(Deluxe studio suite) Finally, we were told that our originally booked room type was fully booked, which was really disappointing! Third, a four-star hotel without a bathtub, toothbrushes, or toothpaste, while even Ibis, a three-star hotel, provides them. The quality of hotel amenities needs improvement. Such unprofessional front desk service attitude in a four-star hotel, coupled with the poor quality of hotel facilities, is really disappointing.

Overall I had a very pleasant stay. Check in and out were easy and professional. Breakfast was good with great service. Room was comfortable, clean and well appointed. My only suggestion would be to review the placement of the TV in relation to the bed. Its current location made it uncomfortable to relax on the bed while watching TV.
