We had a lovely comfortable room with everything we needed. The next morning we had breakfast at Seasons and whilst the food was delicious, the service was not. The coffee included with breakfast was undrinkable (luke warm and so weak), so we decided to order two coffees from the barista. I ordered two mugachinos from a very unhappy unsmiling woman at the till. The coffees arrived at our table, served by the same woman, and were plonked down without a word. They appeared to be short blacks in the tiniest glasses I'd ever seen. We took them back and were greeted with the same service by the same woman who begrudgingly placed another order for cappucinos as apparently you don't serve mugachinos. Once again, the coffees arrived with not a word from the same woman. Obviously there was a miscommunication as she must have thought I said mochachinos or something, not that we'll ever know because she was scant on the detail. Whilst we enjoyed our stay, this small event has tarnished our visit. This particular staff member is obviously very unhappy and in fact, not many staff looked too happy. We are very easy going people and get the fact that it was very busy, but a smile would not have hurt.

Have stayed at your property numerous times over the years and it's always nice, clean and modern. This time upon check-in when walking to the room, there were dirty plates outside of the rooms, the actual room's TV showed we hadn't checked into the room, so couldn't access the in-room movies, tried to call reception, but although there was a phone line, none of the numbers e.g 9 for reception (as stated on the phone) worked/rang, so had to physically go to reception to ask about the in-room movies. The breakfast was a highlight, Seasons restaurant is always nice.

The first night was terrible- finding a used condom in your child’s room is totally unacceptable. However Manager was good about it and offered breakfast.

Check in was amazing the lady who checked us in was great, however the stay was awful. Once checked in straight away the paint fume was overwhelming which we made a complaint and nothing could be done. The phone didn't work in which I advised the reception 3 times still nothing was done for the whole stay and when we did enter the room there was a greeting letter that was not addressed to us so clearly the couple prior to us moved on as the fumes from the paint was to much

A little disappointed with our stay for three nights.

We were mindful that was school holidays but when paying over $550 a night we were all expecting a little sparkle! A touch of luxury somewhere! For $1600 for 3 nights we honestly would have stayed somewhere else for a week! The rooms were very tired, clean but tired. One day a pile of towels were left instead of completing a quick tidy up. The little touches were missing, little staff interaction. In fact little staff! When my son called for another fry pan (as the one in the room was horrible), the housekeeping people were efficient and apologetic in offering another. Overall, I would not stay again. I would rather invest my holiday funds in something that has a little sparkle or closer to four stars! Sorry Peppers Salt, would not rate you four stars these days.

We are very fond of the hotel and have stayed at Peppers and Bale more than 10 times, however our last visit was disappointing. Our most recent stay was at Bale. After being contacted the day before arrival to check ETA and advise check in and a greating would be at Bale, we arrived with nobody available. A reported TV issue was never addressed, room was not serviced on day, staff at restaurant were uninterested in service resulting in shortage of hot food at breakfast each day and us needing to clean and set our own table, bar staff were too few resulting in significant delays with delivery of drinks and food to Bale pool, despite our offer to walk across and collect.

We arrived on Friday to a room that looked as though it hadn’t been cleaned. The sheets on the bed looked clean, however I am afraid to think about if they actually were changed between guests. The carpet was full of what looked like chip crumbs and hundreds and thousands. The cabinet that the tv sits on was dusty and in bad condition. It looks as though the bar fridge may have defrosted at some stage causing water damage to the bottom of the door. The bathroom looked like it had not been cleaned. The tiles were absolutely revolting. Black in the grout part in some sections and white in others, yuuuuckkk. There was hair all over the floor in there too. The bottom of the shower screen was covered in soap scum too. We were travelling with our 1 year old who isn’t quite walking yet and I was hesitant to let him crawl on the floor at all. I called down to reception on Saturday morning to ask when the room would be cleaned as it was very dirty only to be told that it depended on my booking as to when it would be tended to. According the reception it wouldn’t be cleaned in the time we were staying, ummmmm excuuuseee me??? It’s only cleaned every 5 days??? Never heard of that and in such a nice motel? On checkout I was served by the assistant manager who was lovely and when asked how everything was and being told that the room was extremely dirty he apologised and said that they had noted my visit to reception and that someone was supposed to have come up to our room to have a look. I informed him that we had not had anyone visit our room while we were around and were not told if it had been done while we were out. He again apologised and said that he would look into what had happened. This was our first family getaway and we were so disappointed that so many of our friends had recommended Peppers to us and to have paid so much money for the long weekend away we left feeling extremely dissatisfied and disappointed. We don’t plan on staying again at Peppers instead we’ll try Mantra I guess. Sorry.

Quality room and spa offered. Lovely outlook of the pool. The bonus drinks were ok. Tv options and gym not what reflects a superior hotel experience. Most hotels offer more than one coffee pod (these were the cheapest variety too). My partner and I really loved the location.

The room was modern, well-presented and comfortable. The pools were ideal and the public areas provided plenty of spaces to relax with a good book and a drink or socialize with friends. Staff were always pleasant, efficient and willing to help. The location is superb...minutes walkimg distance from the beach and pathways to nearby townships.

Our room was below par with a bed made of mismatched single mattresses and a broken shower head. We ordered room service one night which seemed to be an inconvenience for the person who took the order. We decided to stay 2 nights so i could go to the spa on the second day. The spa cancelled my appointment at 5:45pm the night before after confirming it 2hrs prior. What we hoped would be a slightly indulgent weekend away turned into frustration so instead of spending our last day by the pool, we were packed up and gone by 7am.
