We are return guests. I appreciate not everyone gets a water view, however with the booking I had one request. For a quiet room. What we got was a particularly noisy one. I was offered another room with 2 nights to go. But understandably my wife was not keen to move all our things to another room that might be just as noisy. Last Saturday afternoon 5th October 2019 and heard a dull and ongoing noise from perhaps outside the front of the apartment from the moment we arrived in the room (I really don't know what it is. I'm guessing a high pressure water pipe/compressor, pool filter pump or air con maybe.) I phoned reception to enquire how long this noise was going to last. A staff member apologized, came out promptly to investigate and within a couple of hours we returned to our room and the noise had stopped. Noise started again yesterday afternoon (about 4pm I think but not as loud) when we came back to our room in the evening we still have the noise. As you can see by the time stamp it's after midnight. No answer on the phone at reception and I have left a voice mail. I get the impression the noise can be heard from many of the units in the block. Thanks Anthony R. Tired dirty room. No view. Noisy most of the Saturday. Some staff unhelpful. Restaurant staff flabbergasted me twice. Housekeeping staff entered our room while we were resting despite a ‘dnd’ sign on our door. There were things I could overlook but in general paying $988 for two nites for this experience means I won’t be there again and won’t recommend to anyone.

Overall good, would have liked a door in the Master bathroom, my husband or I had to leave the room every time we needed to use the toilet. Also, having no elevator to the 3rd floor made carrying luggage not so fun.

Room badly in need of maintenance, AV cables in bad way, no remote for sound system, bathroom hand basin loose and held down with silicone!! Restaurant expensive and did not provide discounts etc provided in Lux Escapes deal.

It was a clean room ...though the lower floors on the right had a car park veiw ..ask for the water side if book early as we booked later Rooms need updated flat tvs and docks for phones and ipads as not there only old one on radio. Loved the lagoon pool and lush gardens beautifulky kept . Breakfast was nice too.

We love Peppers Magnetic Island.

We brought most of our family, our five grandchildren with us. We all love the pool. The hotel is very family friendly. We appreciated the Eco Rate and the lovely breakfast which we all enjoyed together. All staff are pleasantly helpful.

It was just a quick visit to Magnetic Island and we are lucky to have stayed in Peppers. The reception staff Deb has been very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and we were lucky to be upgraded to a room with a view. Restaurant staff were friendly too and the breakfast was very satisfying. We will definitely return.

Lovely accommodation and beautiful island but I was not aware it was school holiday for Queensland and NSW.

School holidays made making use of the pools very difficult as too many children screaming and jumping into the water. I would suggest making the smaller pool adults only. We also didn't like the evening dinner menu.........some very strange things on it. The rib special was good but the salmon meal I had one night was not up to standard. I believe I cook antlantic salmon better than that.

We were a little disappointed with our stay. We had to ask the maintenance man to attend to issues with our apartment on the first night. Steve was excellent and did his best to find a solution to each issue. My husband had 5 terrible nights sleep due to his side of the bed having the slates hyperflexing, which caused the mattress to dip. We found the staff to be inattentive and inflexible at the front desk and in the restaurant. We did enjoy the facilities of the resort but for the amount of money we paid each night we felt it wasn't to the level we would have expected.

Beautiful room and pools, however after making the booking months prior to visit thought we would have had a room on a higher floor. So that was disappointing. I also changed the booking to one night earlier and still waiting to hear back from Peppers about refund for the differing amounts between the Wed and Thurs night.

There were 2 weddings booked which is fine but perhaps Peppers should consider closing their bar area instead of telling their other paying guests to be quiet. Also, our room had the most horrendous smell which your lovely cleaning staff tried to elevate by providing a machine this however smelt overpowering and was just as bad !

Mostly great. Had to keep asking for more toilet paper! Nice if you could have a few in the cupboard, especially for a family of 5.

We thorougly enjoyed the pool and the hotel was maintened to a high standard. The cleaning staff were very polite and respectful. The pool needs resurfacing and dirty plates were left on tables from the night before. This is the only thing that needs improving.

The hotel facilities and staff were great, however we were disappointed in the room given how much we paid. The aircon was not working. Being on the ferry side it was noisy and bright from street lights. This made it difficult to keeping my baby asleep.

The food and service in the restaurant was extremely poor.

The room was nice and well appointed, however, all the meals were of very low quality. The buffet breakfast was of a very low standard. The restaurant staff were either ambivalent or rude.
