- Checking was strictly by the rules, don't even look at us before 2pm, this was at 1:40 pm. - The balcony is like a goal, you can see the beach through a set of horizontal bars, nothing like what it looks like on the web site. - Did I mention cockroaches in the bathroom? - A very motel like feel to the tired looking place - $600 for 2 nights is about double of what it's worth

Unfortunately all of the ocean view hotel rooms have the glass louvres that you look through to the ocean, I am sorry that this was not what you were expecting. As above very relaxing and enjoyable, only complaint I have is the 606 main bedroom Tv had no free to air signal. I did report it but nothing came of it. Minor annoyance at best.

What we liked, most things. Location was great and rooms we nice and tidy. Pool and spa were good temperatures. The pool was a nice size as well. What we didn't like. I had a back injury at the time and we have to carry cases up 3 flights of stairs as there was no lift in our wing. Plus our wing was a long way from the pool. (I realise these things are hard to change) The biggest complaint was the free wifi. It was only one bar in our room and therefore could not connect easily and it was usable. 1mb per second is a joke. Even at the pool area near the office, it was 1.5mb per second, it reminded me of dial-up internet days. Maybe NBN is not in Port Macquarie yet but with a family and a teenager, this was last century internet. Thankfully both our Telstra and Optus cellular was a good speed to save the day. We recently stayed at the Gold coast at a beachfront hotel for a similar price, they gave us 100gb of free high-speed data for the week. In saying all this for your benefit so your business can improve, we still had a great time in a lovely hotel. Cheers

During peak periods our Wifi does slow down with the amount of users on at the same time. We are looking at upgrading our system in the near future. The 2 bedroom garden terrace apartments do only have stair access, but our team are alwasy happy to help with luggage. It wasn’t bad - but I was booked on govt rate single person business - and was placed next to a multi bedroom suite and had kids up running around screaming at 5am. I think business class rooms should be grouped together, not next to family rooms

Your hotel is in a good position out of the busy mainstream of P. Macquarie, yet very close to all places of interest to visit, and of course the beach and the walk around the coastline. Parking facilities were excellent. Not sure what it may be like in the Christmas holidays if there is enough car spaces available. Staff very welcoming on arrival and helpful when asked for information at other times.

Quite good for us but not our daughter and family

We have stayed with you several times through Luxury escape. We encouraged our daughter and husband and baby to do the same but unfortunately their experience was awful. I requested well before our visit that our rooms be closer so we could use baby monitor but this was not done. I asked again on arrival and again our request was not accommodated. They had the 1st floor and we had 5th. We were delighted with our room. Theirs was noisy smelly had locked cupboards so putting food away was difficult. I wasn’t serviced at all in the 5days they were there. They had a 15month baby and floors were never vacuumed. I’m not sure they will return. As for us we had a great view and pleasant stay and our room was nice. I’m disappointed for our daughter as we would like to rebook again next year. It’s a fabulous location.
