Excellent location with an easy stroll to Salamanca Markets. The room was large, clean, very comfortable and contemporary styling. Although only staying for one night, the full kitchen with more than adequate accessories would have been enjoyed during a longer stay. All of the staff that we met were knowledgeable, genuinely friendly and helpful.

From start to finish the staff and amenities impressed at Mantra Hobart One Sandy Bay Road. I was glad that I had pre-booked parking which made getting around very easy, and the Salamanka Markets a short walk away meant it was a great location. The room was ready on time and well presented clean and modern.

Stay was good and room and facilities were good. Front desk staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. Would be nice to have windows that can open for some fresh air. Only problem for my seven day stay the room was not cleaned once - during check-in I was told at least one clean for a week stay. No drama but would have been nice.

The Mantra Hobart is perfectly located in easy walking distance to the Hobart Waterfront, restaurants etc which was fabulous. Whilst the apartment was comfortable enough, the room definitely needs maintenance and updating. There were a couple of maintenance issues which were reported to the front desk, and to their credit, were quick to ensure that it was rectified (toilet seat broke and kitchen cupboards were hanging of hinges). The rest of the room could do with a good lick of paint, and shower grout a good scrub. It just looks a bit tired.

The place is good, and everything works fine. Except for the internet connection. They give you a code that allows you to have 7GB traffic for a week. That really limited me in terms of my work and entertainment at night.

Excellent location in the centre of Hobart. Quite with views out to Mt Wellington. Huge one bedroom apartment. Umbrellas conveniently located in foyer, was super handy when weather was bad. Staff efficient and friendly.

Our stay was really disappointing. After staying with you 4 years ago & being very impressed, we had no doubts about booking with you again. The main 2 issues with this stay was being booked into a disabled room, therefore the shower was effectively a dribble of water with a curtain around it & a basin with no bench space to hold any toiletries. The other reason for booking with you, was so that, after being away from home for a week, we could wash some clothes. This was made difficult, with the handle of the washing machine door being broken by a previous guest. Josh from reception was able to come up & prize the door open with a metal ruler & for the rest of our stay he instructed us to use a knife to get it open after each load. On top of this the clothes airer was broken, the dining table chairs were all damaged & the room was generally run down & sad. We will book elsewhere next time.
