The rooms were old. The bathrooms looks awful and old. We thought all mantras had a standard and would regualry renovate to keep up with other hotels around.

Overall quite good. We had to request bathroom linen that wasn't provided on arrival; the card swipe for exiting the carpark didn't work once (entry was OK); not having a designated car park and the manouvrability in the carpark was stressful; the oven tray had grease/oil on it from previous occupants; the kitchen window ledge & glass were very dirty, and the balcony was dirty; dirty dishes in hallway in front of another apartment there most of the day; the apartment was a good size, great bed; great accessibility to town; staff at front desk very responsive to queries

Overpriced and in need of an upgrade

The location is great and the staff were friendly. However the place is run down. It needs an upgrade. The beds are small and uncomfortable. We were charged way too much for what we got.

I found the quality of the furnishings a bit inferior especially bathroom (702). There was quite a bit of noise heard form the street. I was not informed of breakfast options on check in , and not even when I asked a waiter the evening before about cost and time of breakfast I was not advised I could prebook for a cheaper rate. Thankfully they gave me the cheaper rate the next day when al became clear. The pool is a bit uninspiring. The car park was tricky to negotiate and hard to turn around in- not nice to find no spot when returning home at 10.30pm and doing a 5 point turn to go out into the street again. Breakfast was OK but I've had better. They ran out of fruit salad one morning but made more on request.

We stayed in 2 bedroom serviced apartment which was nice and clean. The only issue was parking which was entirely full. We had to walk (especially my mom who has trouble walking after all days walk of sightseeing) to the local restaurants as we were concerned losing our parking spot at the hotel. Also, suggestion to make parking free for the overnight stay customers as you that would be appreciated as well.

This is our 2nd time, the 1st time we’re really happy but this time my few problems - 1st the room is not ready yet at 1:30 fair enough the check in tine is 2 pm. We come back around 5 we collect our room key(pass) but the door won’t open. We went back to the reception and she scan it again. The key work this time but someone else luckily no ones in the room. We went back again to the reception and gave us another room this time the key works and its a correct room.

Room service was great, and room was a good size, however oven was dirty to point where when we tried to use it, it filled room with smoke and set off fire alarm, also toaster was faulty and did same even though on lowest setting.

Large enough rooms however the bathroom's need a complete renovation. Mould and "seeping" from the toilet were unacceptable.

We paid over $1000 for 3 nights in a two bed apartment and I felt the room was of a sub standard for that price. The bathrooms are in need of complete renovation. There was visible mould and liquid seeping "something" from the toilet where it meets the floor. The room felt tired and dusty. The curtains and behind the bedside tables were thick with dust. The beds were of a sub standard. The staff were extremely helpful, professional, kind and polite. The rooms were not interconnected "inside" each room making it feel less secure as the "front" door rattled and didn't feel as if it was closed and locked properly.

The staff and food was really good but we were extremely disappointed in our room 510. The kitchen floor tiles missing, a bedroom lamp was broken and the shade cracked. The bathroom had quite a bit of rust up the door frame. The lounge chairs arm rests were nearly thread bare. We have stayed there before and the room was so much nicer and to your usual Mantra standards.

We enquired on booking re parking and were told there was plenty. On arrival told to look for a space or 'just park out the back'. We found parking 1100m away from the hotel and missed the start of the event we travelled over 1500km to attend. Receptionist (who said she was the Duty manager) apologised - but no offer of a solution. Maybe cleaning the mess in the carpark would give you another parking bay.Given 2 drink vouchers that we could never use - bar closed. Employ people who use some initiative - either don't give vouchers at all or swap for a coffee voucher for the morning. Will not stay here again.

Quick and easy check in and out. Nothing was an issue and all the staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast and room service were great, but the accommodation was tired. My room has everything I needed. I was concerned about the environment policy, which I followed and yet I received clean towels everyday???
