Great location walking distance to everything, trams within metres as with beaches. Spacious apartment, lifts a great addition as were the tennis courts and three pools and a spa

Was disaapointed that WIFI didn't work upon check in on Saturday 21/9/19 and then on Sunday 22/9/19. WIFI then was instaaled on Monday 23/9/19 in the late afternoon. I was informaed that becuase the room was recently renovated that the WIFI modem had not yet been installed. I feel this matter should have been checked before room was made available for guests. Also the fridge was elaking suring our stay and we had to continually mop up the water. Once again this should be checked before the room was made available for guests.

Overall pleased with the apartment and location, booked at a reasonable price on special. Staff friendly and helpful. Reported a couple of issues: hot water tripping, which was promptly fixed, and master bedroom blind not closing which was not attended to during the week we stayed.

As I landed at 6am I approached the reception for an early check in, the receptionist was very understanding and listed my unit for a priority clean. I was called at 1.30pm to say my room was now ready. Hardly a priority clean. I have supplied photo to the receptionist of the basin and cutlery which was really not acceptable. Unit has refurbished bath rooms and partial kitchen but the rest of the unit is grubby. The location is perfect, security of the building great and very handy to have free parking.

I booked through the mantra site after doing research on trivago. On trivago there's oceanview and city view rooms with oceanview being more expensive, I didn't mind paying more for what I wanted but I booked a 2 bedroom apt on mantra site with the same price of oceanview on trivago so I just thought that's the same room, I rang mantra hoping to book with a person but got told to book online which I did, and he said to write in the comment section a request for an oceanview because I'm not guaranteed an oceanview eventhough paying and booking an oceanview, I understand its subject to availability, I have since checked trivago and it's been changed. I said something to the girl at reception and she says it happens all the time and now she knows why. She said she'll speak to her manager but nothing came of it. The room had a view of buildings and a small section of ocean, I really wanted a front facing apt, I saved for 2 years for this holiday and just wanted to relax with the views. The room was ok, a bit old and dusty, i did a quick clean before I let my 3 year old touch anything, broken tiles and mould in the bathrooms, the cups and plates weren't cleaned and put under the clean ones, only noticed when I went to use them. The foxtel kept cutting out, didn't go down to well while my toddler was watching paw patrol. Was only given 1 room key but really needed 2, i took my daughter to the beach and my husband went to the pub he took the only key as i was planning on being longer, had an emergency with my daughter and couldn't get into my room, spent 20 mins in the reception toilet with a screaming toddler in so much pain from what happened at the beach as my husband came running back. The girl ordered another key that day which got delivered on a sunday. How does that happen, what if there's an emergency which there was surely there has to be more than 1 room key. I'm a mantra member but had no wifi on arrival, every time I went down to speak to the girl there was a back In 5 min sign so eventually got it on day 3 and got a $20 voucher for a pub which was nice and a late check out till 12, on departure day we had the cleaning lady knocking on the door at 10 on the dot, lucky we had plans for that day and had to leave around 10 anyway, so I returned the keys around 10.20 and told the lady at reception about the cleaning lady and how we had a late check out, she argued with me saying no I dont, i said yes I did, this happened 4 times, she said I should've never had a late check out in the 1st place and the younger girl made a mistake as there's another booking in that room, she was so rude about it, she made it out to be my fault for having a late checkout for some reason. Lucky we didn't sleep in and take out time packing. I did read a lot of reviews about rude staff and it's definitely true. I picked the hotel based on location and price and thinking the rude staff issue would've been dealt with, but this lady needs a talking to. I had a stroller I was going to throw away because I couldn't take it on the plane back home and offered it to the girl at reception and left it with the lady to give to her, she rolled her eyes and huffed and puffed, I really hope I didn't get her in trouble because she was really nice and helpful. Overall the lady at the end finished our holiday on a very big low, we didn't get what I thought I paid for, the room needed some maintenance and better cleaning, but the younger girl was excellent and very nice. I probably would stay again if we had an oceanview, those looked great and if we got a good deal. I understand it's an older property but I thought it would be a bit better being a 4 star. The pool and bbq area was great and my toddler loved the little playground, that's one of the reasons I booked this hotel. The location was another reason I booked but could've got something a bit nicer with better views for the same amount of money. A bit disappointing but the lovely reception girl made the whole holiday a bit better, the older lady on the other hand was a dragon lady with an additude problem. Thanks

The view was absolutely breathtaking. Location was spot on. However the appliances were such a big disappointment. Toaster and kettle really needed upgrading and the fry pan/utensils was disgusting! Based on just that we won’t be coming back again because I wanted to cook in the apartment
