We were in Brisbane for my husband to have surgery at the nearby Brisbane Private Hospital As we come from Regional Central Qld we had to travel to the nearest facility for this surgery, your accommodation was on the list we received from the local PTS office . Your staff were more than obliging with my inquiries leading up to our arrival and more than helpful when we arrived . The apartment was wonderful, comfortable and restful after a day sitting at the hospital, felt secure and safe Thank you again for making this stay bearable when so far away from home

Disappointed pool wasnt heated as stated on booking site.

Unfortunately on investigation it appears the heater pump for our pool has broken and was recently brought to the attention of our maintenance manager who is in the process of sourcing a new part. Positive hotel experience. On booking we were not told about parking fees in the hotel. they should be part of the fee disclosure process. Staff very helpful and professional and eager to please. room was nicely presented and clean. Disability bathroom could be better designed. shower makes so much mess. difficult and dangerous to clean up and nowhere to hang wet towels to dry.

Check in was easy, room was clean and spacious, location whilst on the edge of CBD was still convenient and easy to get around the city. Trip to apartment was made real easy using Airtrain from Brisbane Domestic Airport to Brisbane Central Station, a short 50 m walk

Everything was good up untill check out, and having to deal with a security deposit release, aparently this process now is a three day wait from release after speaking with Jake, thats if its actually processed on check out, but when a guest pays you 495 dollars for one night, and leaves the apartment in the same condition as its presented to them, then this security hold should be a straight reversal back to there method of payment stated by my bank heritage, this is the second time i have stayed, only the second because of this same issue ive now had, except the last time i had to go through my bank to have this issue sorted, honestly i have no issue waiting by the pool while a mantra staff member inspects my room to ensure ive treated your rooms with the same level of respect and dencentcy I expect to be treated with and to see the curtains are still hanging on the walls, This issue is one of principle and i can not ethically or morally justify how it is acceptable to expect a good paying customer to return when its ok for you as a business to press release on a hold that actually does not notify my bank untill ten days after the security payment hold is due to expire, that you no longer require it, when the simple process of reversing the transaction would see the funds returned instantly, by all means if i was a disrespectful customer that treated your establishment poorly id expect nothing less of such treatment, But considering, my apartment stayed in would have been re-rented to the next customer following my check out, the turn around on your ability to know with certainty that i have treated you and your premises with respect and decency is known in a 2-4 hour turn around of cleaning staff inspecting, this current process of not reversing security deposits needs to change, My business and personal stays in between my now two stays at mantra, have gone to Rydges because they understand this process and the frustration and inconvenience it causes, Thats 200 dollars that should be in my account earning me interest not being held for 3 to 10 days when my conduct has now been proven over two stays to you, Another point, No where did it say i was receiving a special rate or was I told, To warrant a no cancellation policy three days prior when i booked and told this after already confirming the booking, this may seem like unnecessary drama or a complaint bases on being a fussy customer, But its actually the principle of treating people with respect and decency and showing them you value them choosing you and your business over other available businesses, Ive now wastsed two-three hours of my time inquiring about this process and what my leagl rights are as a consumer, And the security deposit is still not released, I stayed a second time because i believe in giving the benifit of the doubt, where ever possible and not judging bases off past or bad experiences, but rather looking at a situation bases on the, Intention + Behaviour = Outcome, approach to being provided a better experience and i am now left feeling the intention did not meet the outcome, because the behaviour fundamentally is not geared to providing an experience expected or to show customer satisfaction in that Mantra values my business. The car park was a nightmare, the second night we didn't have a spot. Had to go to the reception and get another spot sorted.

Easy to check in and check out, however could explain where the carpark is a little bit better. Friendly staff, comfortable and clean room. Could use extra towels in the room or put some in the pool area. Overall a very satisfying stay.

I had a lovely corner unit (1501) with lots of space - perfect for my 3 day stay. It's a shame that there's no room servicing over that period of time but no drama because who changes towels daily at home?
