Generally enjoyed stay. Only minor blip was that the kitchen was not fully equipped (needed to ask for a frying pan,extra plate and spatula), and would have appreciated more garbage bags .

Great location. Great rooms. Reservations were excellent to deal with. Front office staff were excellent to deal with, to answer questions and solving a problem. Late check out was great. CON: Pillows were horrible. 3 really flat ones - one even had disintegrated so much that is was just big lumps not even held together. 1 good size pillow. I ended up using a throw pillow!

Our family loved staying at the Mantra- it was extremely close to all tourist attractions and transport and the accommodation was clean, spacious and very comfortable- we will certainly be staying again

Mantra 2 Bond Street is in a great location and was fantastic family-accommodation for myself and my family. The room was clean and staff were extremely helpful. It was great to find a 2 bedroom apartment in a great location.

We have stayed at the Mantra Bond St 4 times now. The 1st 3 were terrific. The last one was very disappointing. I didn't realise that I didn't book the same level of Studio apartment and ended up on Level 1 in a room that was akin to a bunker, dark and musty. The kitchen cupboards were poorly equipped. The TVs were basic, where once upon a time you could hire in-house movies that feature had been removed. The bathroom sink was made for people about 4feet in height, almost impossible for my husband to shave at, also there was no plug provided, making shaving even harder. The lifts operated intermittantly. Also we didnt realise the property was taken over by Accor. Over $600 for 2 nights in a bunker is a joke. Overall a very disappointing stay, we will be looking elsewhere for accommodation next time. We WONT be back.

I can see the room the allocation was one of our Bond Studios on the first floor and it is apparent several areas require additional focus. As you have to come experience previously Michelle, this is not our usual standard and to restore some confidence in the hotel and the brand we would love to invite you back to the property on a complimentary night's stay. Staff very friendly. Only negative would be the food area. Food quality not great and to get charged to have a refill of coffee was very surprising

The staff on the ground floor were friendly. We were disappointed at the basic cleanliness. When we arrived the toilet was dirty the carpet didn’t look like it had been vaccumed. The fridge had all finger marks over it. If you are looking for very basic accommodation & are not fussed on BASIC hygiene & cleanliness & a lot of outside noise then it would suit. It does not live up to 4 stars!!!!!! Very disappointed.

I booked my parents for a 6 night stay and was told all rooms are renovated. I phoned twice before they arrived to make sure they were put in a room which was a single level no steps as my father has had a stroke and could not manage steps. I was told yes no problem we can put him in a single level room. Again I checked yes all rooms renovated. When they checked in they weer put in a non renovated room which was not satisfactory at all. Rust, dirt and a room which should not be used - was the feedback from my parents. As I was over sea seas during this time they did not phone me to advise of the poor condition of the room they were in. It was there 56 yr anniversary ruined by a room which should not be used for guests any more. Not happy

I was upgraded to a one bedroom apartment on arrival. I had issues with my room key in the lift and had to swipe it several times to access my floor. I stayed on the second floor and the room was quieter than I expected it to be. The floor did smell strongly of cigarette smoke though, which was not pleasant. The room itself was clean and comfortable. Room service breakfast was quick and delicious.

The room was clean and suited our needs. Position to Circular Quay and Darling Harbour was fantastic. Staff at reception could be friendlier as they rarely acknowledged patrons entering the building unless approaching the desk. This is not something I have experienced at other Mantra hotels.
