Good experience. I wasn't able to use my Accor Plus membership for discounts at the bar, this was disappointing. Could also use a loading zone for checking. I had to park illegally to check in after a number of trios around the block looking for somewhere to pull up and check in.

I paid in excess of $900 because Pink was playing in Brisbane that night. We had to go to apppoinmts at the hospital. The room was dirty the wallls were all marked and scuffed the shower head was broken. There was dust buildup behind the bedside tables. It was a very disappointing excepeinece for the money we spent!!! Price gauging at its best!!!! Never again will I stay there!!

There is no excuse for cleanliness not hitting the mark in these regards when linked to wall marks and dust. Understanding peak periods and supply and demand is an intrinsic part of the hotel industry however we must be able to deliver on what we aim to provide. We work hard to deliver an exceptional guest experience, and it's apparent in this case that we fell short. After booking the mantra hotel in Terrace I arrived to be told they were fully booked and I was relocated to the Southbank hotel only after arriving. There was seemingly no effort to communicate this to me before my arrival and although the cost of the taxi was covered, I was then made to sit in traffic for 30 mins and was subsequently late for a work event that brought me to the city in the first place. In the morning I was also woken up by a member of staff knocking and entering the room saying “good morning”. I had not asked for a wake up call nor is this a standard or acceptable wake up call if that’s what it even was. Upon informing the staff at the front desk when I checked out I was given very little sympathy and felt as though the issue was not taken very seriously. I think the mantra hotel is severely lacking in many aspects of its customer service and I would hesitate to stay in any of its locations again.
